I’m obviously going to say this, but I do think a family photoshoot makes a lovely present. It’s a great excuse to get everyone together, to take the time to just be together, to have some fun and make memories.
Louise contacted me during the summer explaining that she and her sister would like to arrange a family photoshoot to celebrate their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. They wanted the shoot to reflect their parents’ love of the outdoors and for it to be totally relaxed and natural. We decided to head to Chatelherault Country Park to make the most of beautiful early autumn colours.
After capturing some family group shots we headed off into the woods for some tree climbing, stick fights and singing (from me). Louise and her family were an absolute pleasure to photograph and all in all, I couldn’t think of a nicer way to spend a Saturday morning with my camera.
