As far as wedding venues go, Errol Park between Perth and Dundee is pretty much as good as they get. Beautiful grounds overlooking the River Tay, walled gardens, Victorian greenhouses and a magnificent circular stable block all combine to provide the most perfect background for wedding photos. Lynn and Paul are epic travellers both for work and pleasure but they chose the lawns outside the house in this beautiful little corner of Scotland to get married.
Thankfully the weather held for the ceremony but it wouldn’t really have been a true wedding in Scotland if we hadn’t encountered some rain on the day. Despite the heavens opening, the grounds of Errol Park provided the perfect solution for a couple shoot and we found shelter under a beautiful canopy of trees while we waited for the rain to stop.
Lynn and Paul’s day was jam-packed with gorgeous styling and details. The couple even entertained their guests with a performance from local Highland dancers and I’m pretty sure that the fish and chip van which arrived just as I was leaving would have been well received by their guests too. Just a shame it couldn’t have come a wee bit earlier 😉
Massive thanks to the lovely Kristin from Struve Photography for magnificent second shooting.
